| Abstract: | How should an accident victim be transported? What type of head injury precludes immediate treatment of associated injuries? When is tracheostomy indicated? What should be done for a flail chest? If an accident victim has a head injury, a chest injury, abdominal injuries and fractures of the extremities, which should be treated first? These are some of the problems considered. Specific areas of discussion include injuries of the lower extremities, head injuries, crushing injuries of the chest, and abdominal injuries. |
