| Abstract: | It is rare for hydatid disease to be encountered primarily in the urogenital system or retroperitoneum. Moreover, prostatic involvement is extremely rare. We present a case report of prostatic hydatid cyst that was treated with laparoscopic excision. We reviewed diagnosis and management of hydatid disease of the urogenital tract. |
