An investigation to the modern combination strategy of Chinese medicine and western medicine for coronary heart disease

There are advantages and characteristics in the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease(CHD) for the Chinese medicine(CM)and Western medicine(WM),but the best choice is the real combination of CM and WM.This article investigates the combination from the following aspects,current situation,present problems,the combination targets and prospect.For the improvement of treatment effect and quality,we should establish proper prevention and treatment methods,take a factual and realistic attitude,make the CM and WM infiltrated each other and draw the strong points of oneto offsetanother's weakness,use the principle of evidence based medicine in the clinical practice.
