成人正畸及其社会心理影响因素

目的　研究社会心理因素对成人错牙合正畸治疗的影响。方法　选自 78例年龄 18～ 5 3岁的已结束正畸治疗或接近完成治疗的成人错牙合正畸患者作问卷调查。结果　不同性别两组中在认为戴用矫正器有影响方面 ,男性较女性大 ,差异有显著性。不同文化程度两组中在认为牙齿不齐是疾病方面 ,学历较高组与学历较低组有差别 ;而在矫正过程中有中断想法方面 ,两组差异无显著性。已婚组对矫正后容貌变化的评价高于未婚组 ,差异有显著性。首次咨询对已婚组决定做矫正的影响小于未婚组。结论　社会心理因素对成人正畸治疗有诸多影响。

Research of Social and Psychological Factors that Affect the Treatment of Orthodontics of Adults

Objective To study the influence of socio-psycho factors on orthodontics of adults. Methods 78 patients with malocclusion who had finished or were about to finish their orthodontics treatment were selected, aging from 18 to 53. Results In the two groups of opposite sexes, men thought that wearing appliances had greater influence on them than women did. The influence on men and women was markedly different. In the two groups of different educational backgrounds, the better-educated thought that having ugly teeth was a sort of disease. This view was quite different from that of the less educated, but in these two groups the same number of people thought of stopping orthodontics treatment. The married group thought that orthodontics treatment had caused great positive change to their physical appearance while unmarried thought that there was only a little positive change in their look. We asked both the married and the unmarried who hadn't had such experience whether they wanted to have orthodontics treatment. The first consultation had much less influence on the married group's decision whether to have orthodontics treatment than on the unmarried group's. Conclusion Social and psycholegical factors affected the treatment of orthodontics of adults.
