| Abstract: | NPS Allelix and Nycomed are developing PREOS, an injectable recombinant human parathyroid hormone, for the potential treatment of osteoporosis. In May 2005, NPS filed a market authorization application for PREOS in the US which was accepted for review in July 2005. |
