椎体成形术治疗老年骨质疏松脊椎压缩性骨折

目的 观察椎体成形术治疗老年骨质疏松脊椎压缩性骨折的临床疗效。方法 2004年12月以来,应用椎体成形术治疗51例64个椎体压缩骨折患者,并观察疗效。结果术后所有患者疼痛均明显改善或者消失,1-7d内下床活动,随访5~16个月,所有患者疼痛无反复,无严重并发症发生。结论 椎体成形术是治疗老年骨质疏松脊椎压缩性骨折的一种简单有效安全的方法,并应注意手术操作。

Clinical evaluation of treating osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures with Percutaneous vertebrophasty(PVP)in the older

Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of treating osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures with PVP in the older. Methods Fifty- one patients with sixty - four painful vertebral body fractures were injected polymethyacrylate（PMMA） into the vertebral bodies through pedicle of vertebral arch. Results It was a great relief to all patients after treatment. Tney could get up and move in 1 - 7 days. All patients were followed up for 5 - 16 months. No serious complications occurred. The pain disappeared and vertebral body did not deform. Conhsion PVP is a minimally invasive therapy in the treatment of osteoperotic vertebral compression fractures. It can provide rapid pain relief and spinal stabilization in appropriate patients. However, it must be careful in the operation.
