Study on the diagnostic value of urine routine and microalbuminuria test for early renal injury in diabetes mellitus

Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of urine routine and microalbuminuria(mALB)test for early renal injury in diabetes mellitus.Methods There were 63 diabetes mellitus patients with early renal injury selected as renal injury group,60 diabetes mellitus patients without early renal injury as diabetes group,and another 62 healthy subjects as the control group.The urine routine and mALB of the three groups were tested,and the positive rates of urine routine and mALB test and the levels of mALB and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)of the three groups were compared.Results The positive rate of urine routine and mALB test in renal injury group were 92.48%and 100.00%,which were higher than those in diabetes group[43.33%and 63.33%]and control group[0 and 8.06%],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of mALB and HbA1c of renal injury group were(210.56±43.26)mg/L and(11.26±2.08)%,which were all higher than diabetes group[(98.56±22.07)mg/L and(9.37±3.26)%]and control group[(15.26±3.24)mg/L and(4.56±0.27)%],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of mALB and HbA1c of diabetes group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Urine routine and mALB test for patients with diabetes mellitus can determine whether there is early kidney damage,and the diagnostic effect is significant.
