Analysis of the efficacy of teprenone in the treatment of chronic superficial gastritis in the elderly

Objective To analyze the efficacy of teprenone in the treatment of chronic superficial gastritis in the elderly.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with chronic superficial gastritis were divided into control group and experimental group according to random numerical table,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with cimetidine,and the experimental group was treated with teprenone.The clinical efficacy,occurrence of adverse reactions and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment 92.00%of the experimental group was higher than 76.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions 6.00%of the experimental group was lower than 20.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^2=4.332,P=0.037<0.05).After treatment,the quality of life score(68.68±4.11)points of the experimental group was higher than(57.73±3.48)points of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=14.377,P=0.000<0.05).Conclusion For elderly patients with chronic superficial gastritis,teprenone is more effective,and is difficult to increase adverse drug reactions,which is conducive to improve the quality of life of patients.It is recommended to be further promoted.
