| Abstract: | Candidacy for retransplantation after allograft loss due to BK virus-associated nephropathy (BKVN) with or without allograft nephrectomy is controversial. This report describes 2 renal transplant recipients who lost their grafts to BKVN and subsequently underwent simultaneous kidney and pancreas transplantation with allograft nephrectomy. |
