| Abstract: | Intracardiac thrombus may develop as a consequence of multiple underlying cardiac disorders. Left ventricular (LV) aneurysm following acute myocardial infarction has been associated with intra-aneurysmal thrombus and emboli. Part III of this 5-part article on intracardiac thrombus focuses on the frequency and consequence of thrombus associated with LV aneurysm. |
