| Abstract: | Early detection of vulnerable plaque is important for prevention and treatment of acute coronary syndrome. Intravascular ultrasound is an important method in detecting vulnerable plaque which has unique advantages. This article reviews the basic principles and research progresses in detecting vulnerable plaque by intravascular ultrasound and derivative techniques. |
