关于禽类实验动物感染实验中的安乐术的分析与思考

实验动物病原学感染实验在兽医科学和生物制品研究等方面发挥越来越大的作用。我们对从2009年1月1日至2014年4月正式发表在美国国家生物技术信息中心(NCBI)的以禽类进行感染试验的科研报告进行了文献汇总,重点关注动物福利,尤其是安乐死方面。通过对247项研究报告的调查,虽然几乎所有报告都声称通过其所在单位的动物实验和管理福利委员会的审核,但同类感染实验中采用的临终终点的判定和安乐术不尽相同,麻醉途径和剂量也缺乏标准。文章对目前国际上报道的安乐术的特点也做了比较。

Analysis and consideration of euthanasia for poultry laboratory animals in infection experiments

Laboratory animal experiments of pathogenic infection play more and more roles in animal medicine and biological product research. We surveyed the scientific papers involved with poultry infection experiments published in NCBI Pubmed from Jan.1^st, 2009 through April 29^th,2014, focused on the "humane endpoint" and euthanasia. Among the 247 reports, we found that the euthanasia methods adopted by the researchers were diverse, though almost all authors claimed that they complied with the Animal Experiment Care and Welfare Committees. Carbon dioxide inhalation and anesthetic injection are the most commonly used ways, while the reagents and doses are various. Moreover, the judging standards for experimental or humane end-point vary across the experiments, there are still no standard routes or doses when using anesthetics yet. The paper also compares the characteristics of reported euthanasia methods.
