| Abstract: | A defective molybdenum filter in a dedicated mammographic unit was found to have a detrimental effect on image quality. The authors present a simple method for testing of molybdenum filters and suggest that it be incorporated into the acceptance testing routine for new mammographic units and that it be used in annual quality control checks. |
