| Abstract: | Based on the characteristics of nursing students in vocational colleges, this paper analyzes the origin and features of self-respect development at adolescence, and the issues in the cultivation of self-respect among vocational nursing students. It holds that a healthy and positive self-respect is a necessary qualification and requirement for nursing staffs at the background of new medical mode in the 21st ceutury. |
