Abstract: | Comparison of morphological, bacteriological, serological, and genetic methods for diagnosis ofGardnerella infection in vaginosis showed that the first three methods are preferable, while the genetic method (polymerase chain reaction) is more efficient for identification ofGardnerella vaginalis in culture.
