对云南省红河卫校学生进行艾滋病知识教育近期效果评价

目的了解医学中专生对艾滋病知识的掌握程度及评价自编<艾滋病知识>小册子的健康教育效果.方法于2000年6月对云南省红河卫校307名学生发放该册子自学1周后,对教育前后采用不记名、内容相同的两次问卷调查.结果教育前对19项艾滋病知识题的答对率有14题在60%～97%,正确率最低为对窗口期的认识,仅为15%;教育后对所有知识题的答对率均上升到85%以上,除3道最基本的题无明显变化外,其教育效果十分显著(P＜0.01).对待HIV感染者和AIDS病人的态度有一半以上的人次选择同情和援助,但表示震惊、恐惧及回避者仍占一定比例.对非正当性行为表示反对的人次最多达2/3以上,少数学生则表示赞成或与己无关.所有学生对<艾滋病知识>小册子表示欢迎,大多数学生认为在学校中开展艾滋病知识教育非常必要.结论近年来随着艾滋病健康教育的广泛开展,医学中专生艾滋病基本知识水平有了较大提高但不全面,通过<艾滋病知识>读物教育对进一步提高其艾滋病知识水平效果十分显著且很受欢迎,把性病艾滋病知识教育纳入学校健康教育轨道完全可行.

The evaluation of the short- term result of education among the students in Honghe Health School in Yunnan province by using a booklet known as "AIDS Knowledge"

Objective: To learn about the level of AIDS knowledge among the medical secondary school students and to assess the effectiveness of a health education booklet known as "AIDS Knowledge". Methods: 1. We chose 307 students to fill in questionnaires about AIDS anonymously in June, 2000; 2. Then we distributed each of them the booklet "AIDS Knowledge" and let them study it carefully by themselves; 3. A week later, we asked them to do the same questionnaires in the same way. Results: 1. Before education among the students, the percentage of the right answers for the first 19 questions about AIDS was 60 % - 97 % , and the lowest percentage for the window period was just 15%; 2. After having learned the booklets, the percentage of right answers on all the knowledge was raised to more than 85% . The booklet had a remarkable effect on the improvement of AIDS knowledge ( P<0.01) except for little differecence in the most basic 3 questions; 4. Although more than half of the students chose sympathetic or helping attitude to HIV cases or AIDS patients, some of them still chose attitude of stigma and exclusion to the HIV cases or AIDS patients; 5. Although about the two thirds of the students were against unproper sexual activiies, a small number of them accepted such activities or thought indifferent to them; 6. All of the students thought it necessary to take AIDS education in schools now. Conclusion: Although the medical secondary school students have already greatly raised their level of the basic knowledge about AIDS as a result of extensive development of health education on AIDS in the recent years, their knowledge in this area is limitted. The booklet "AIDS Knowledge" is very popular among the medical secondary school students and helpful in raisining their level of knowledge on AIDS. It is completely feasible that we can integrate the knowledge on STDs or AIDS into our school health education programmes .
