喉鳞状细胞癌中表皮生长因子受体表达的临床意义

目的　研究喉鳞状细胞癌中表皮生长因子受体 (EGFR)的表达及其与预后的关系。方法　采用免疫组织化学ABC法检测 6 4例喉鳞状细胞癌和 6例喉正常黏膜组织中的EGFR表达。结果　EGFR在上述两种组织中的表达率分别为 6 4 %和 0 % ,两者的差异有显著性 (P <0 .0 1) ;EGFR表达与喉鳞状细胞癌的病理组织分级及患者 5年生存期相关 (P <0 .0 5 ) ;多因素分析亦表明 ,TNM分期及EGFR状态与患者 5年生存期相关。结论　EGFR的表达可作为评估喉鳞状细胞癌分化及预后不良的指标

Clinical significance of expression of epidermal growth factor receptor in laryngeal squamous cell cancer

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of expression of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in laryngeal squamous cell cancer(LSCC). Methods The avidin biotin peroxidase method was used to detect the expression of EGFR in 64 cases of LSCC and 6 cases of normal laryngeal tissue. Results The expression of EGFR in the above two tissues was 64% and 0% respectively, the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.01 ). EGFR expression in LSCC was related to the degree of cell differentiation and 5 years survival rate of patients ( P <0.05). On multivariate analysis, EGFR status and TNM category were also related to the 5 years survival of patients.Conclusion The expression of EGFR may be identified as an objective indicator of LSCC patients with a poor prognosis.
