摘 要: | 目的研究老年糖尿病降糖治疗与认知功能得分的关系。方法用简易智能状态检查量表对贵阳市城区60岁以上DM患者461例进行认知功能测定并行“检验及协方差分析。结果治疗组注意力和计算力得分高于未治疗组,胰岛素治疗组定向力、即时记忆力得分均高于未治疗组与非胰岛素治疗组;未治疗组与非胰岛素治疗组的注意力和计算力评分也有统计学差异(P均〈0.05)。结论降糖治疗可能是总体认知功能的保护性因素,可以有效改善注意力和计算力;胰岛素治疗可以明显提高定向力和即时记忆力。

The relationship between diabetic treatment and cognitive function among the elderly |

Abstract: | Objective To study the relationship between diabetes treatment and cognitive function among community elderly people aged 60 years and over in Guiyang city. Methods All participants were interviewed by using questionnaires and physical examination, and their cognitive function was assessed by means of the mini-mental state examination (MMSE). Cognitive function was divided into five domains: orientation, immediate memory, attention and calculation, delayed memory, language function. The u test and analysis of covariance were used for the data analysis. Results There was a significant difference in attention and calculation between treated and untreated subjects (u= 2.12, P〈0. 05). After adjusting for age, body mass index (BMI) and length of diabetes history, the treated subjects had higher score for attention and calculation than untreated subjects (F= 4. 09, P〈0. 05). Subjects with insulin treatment had higher MMSE score than those without treatment and with non-insulin treatment, and there was a significant difference in orientation and immediate memory. There was a significant difference between untreated subjects and non-insulin treated subjects in attention and calculation. Conclusions Diabetes treatment can protect the general cognitive function. Non-insulin treatment can delay the decline of cognition function, especially in attention and calculation. Insulin treatment can raise the score of cognitive function, especially in orientation and immediate memory. |
