| Abstract: | Interleukin （IL）-10 is a class of important cytokine with anti-inflammatory properties. IL-IO can inhibit a variety of immune cells. The physiological role of this cytokine lies in the prevention and limitation of over whelming immune reactions and the resulting tissue damage. At the same time, IL-10 strengthens the function of ＂scavenger＂ and contributes to the induction of tolerance. These effects of IL-10 have close relationship with diseases. Thus,to study the molecular mechanisms and biological characteristics of IL-10 is important for the immunotherapy of IL-10 related diseases. |
