癫痫儿童神经精神共患病的研究进展

 癫痫是儿童神经系统最常见的慢性疾病, 儿童比其他人群更易合并智力障碍、注意力缺陷多动障碍、焦虑障碍、抑郁障碍、孤独症谱系障碍等神经精神疾病, 称为癫痫的神经精神共患病。共患病的存在不仅增加了癫痫的诊疗难度, 还严重影响患儿及其家人的生活质量, 甚至比癫痫发作本身的致残率更高。因此, 探讨癫痫与共患病之间的内在联系、共患病的临床特点、发生的原因及治疗原则至关重要。本文对儿童期癫痫神经精神共患病的研究进展作一综述, 以期为儿童癫痫患者的长程管理提供依据。

Research advance of neuropsychiatric comorbidities in children with epilepsy

Epilepsy is the most common chronic neurological disorder in children. A range of neuropsychiatric disorders occurs more frequently in children with epilepsy than in the general population and constitutes comorbidity, including intellectual disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders and so on. Neuropsychiatric comorbidities not only complicate the treatment of epilepsy but also have a serious impact on the life quality of children and their families. Therefore, it's important to discuss the relationship between epilepsy and comorbidities, clinical characters, possible risk factors and principles of treatment. This review discusses the current literature on the neuropsychiatric comorbidities in children with epilepsy. We hope it will provide evidence for the long-range management of children with epilepsy.
