Effect of Chest and Back Balance Lysis Combined with Tuina on Postpartum Agalactia

Objective:To explore the effect of chest and back balance lysis combined with tuina on postpartum agalactia.Methods:There were 92 patients with postpartum agalactia included.The patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method,46 patients in each group.The control group was given the routine tuina therapy,while the observation group was given chest and back balance lysis and tuina therapy.The treatment was performed once every other day,and 5 times were one treatment course.The scores of lactation index(breast filling degree and lactation volume),lactation volume at different time points,serum prolactin levels and clinical efficacy were observed.Results:There were no significant differences in the lactation index,lactation volume at different time points,and serum prolactin levels between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05).After 1 treatment course,thebreast filling degree and lactation volume scores decreased in both groups(P<0.001),and the observation group were lower than the control group on these indexes(P<0.05 and P<0.01).After 1,3 and 5 times of treatment,the lactation volume increased in both groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group on this index(P<0.05).After 1 treatment course,the serum prolactin levels in both groups increased(P<0.001),and the observation group was higher than the control group on this index(P=0.001).The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.48%,while in the control group was 76.09%,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.020).Conclusion:Chest and back balance lysis combined with tuina for postpartum agalactia could improve prolactin levels and breast filling degree,increase lactation volumes.
