丙戊酸对癫痫病人血清胰岛素及瘦素水平的影响

目的研究服用丙戊酸的癫痫病人体质量的增加是否与血清胰岛素和瘦素水平的改变有关。方法选取28例未服用及24例服用丙戊酸的癫痫病人，应用放射免疫技术检测其空腹血清胰岛素和瘦素水平。结果丙戊酸组与对照组空腹血清胰岛素水平比较差异无显著性（t=-0．909，P〉0．05），但丙戊酸组肥胖病人的空腹血清胰岛素水平高于非肥胖者（t=-2．332，P〈0．05）。丙戊酸组空腹血清瘦素水平高于对照组（t=2．471，P〈0．05），丙戊酸组肥胖病人的空腹血清瘦素水平高于非肥胖病人（t=-2．221，P〈0．05）。结论丙戊酸对癫痫病人空腹血清胰岛素水平无明显影响，但可显著增加癫痫病人的空腹血清瘦素水平，尤其是肥胖病人。

INFLUENCE OF VALPROATE ACID ON INSULIN AND LEPTIN LEVELS IN EPILEPTIC PATIENTS

ObjectiveTo investigate whether changes of insulin and leptin levels had a role in the weight gain associated with valproate acid in epileptic patients.MethodsOf 52 epileptic patients,24 received valproate acid monotherapy while 28(others) did not.The serum insulin and leptin levels were measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA).ResultsThere was no statistical difference between the mean fasting serum insulin level of the two groups(t=-0.909,P>0.05),but in valproate group,the mean fasting serum insulin level of obese patients was higher than that of the nonobese patients(t=-2.332,P<0.05).The mean fasting serum leptin level of valproate acid group was higher than that of the control group(t=-2.471,P<0.05).The mean fasting serum leptin level of obese patients was higher than the nonobese in valproate acid group(t=-2.221,P<0.05).(ConclusionValproate) acid has no influence on fasting serum insulin level of epileptic patients,but can increase their fasting serum leptin level,especially in obese epileptic patients.
