银杏叶提取物对癫痫患者认知功能及脑脊液乙酰胆碱含量的影响

目的：观察银杏叶提取物（EGb）对癫痫患者认知功能及脑脊液（CSF）中乙酰胆碱（Ach）含量的影响，探讨EGb对癫痫发作后认知损害的保护作用及其可能机制。方法：将我院门诊及病区收集的符合要求的45例癫痫患者随机分成治疗组（23例）及对照组（22例），对照组给予丙戊酸钠（ VPA），治疗组在对照组基础上加用银杏叶片。观察24周后，比较治疗前后两组患者认知功能、CSF中Ach含量的变化。结果：治疗后，两组认知功能均有改善，但治疗组认知评分较对照组改变明显（ P＜0．05）；两组Ach水平均比治疗前升高（P＜0．05），且治疗组升高更明显（P＜0．05）。结论：EGb能明显改善癫痫患者的认知功能损害，这一作用与其增强中枢胆碱能神经系统的功能促进Ach释放密切相关。

Effect of Extracts of Ginkgo Biloba Leaf on Cognitive Function and the Level of CSF Ach in Epileptic Patients

Objective：To observe the effect of extracts of Ginkgo biloba leaf （ EGb） on cognitive func-tion and possible mechanism in patients with epilepsy .Methods：A total of 45 outpatients with identified epi-lepsy in Donghai Hospital were randomly divided into 2 matched groups： groupVPA ＋EGb （ n=23） and group VPA （ n=22） , The clinical data before and 24 weeks after treatment were observed and analyzed .The cognitive function was observed by The Beijing version of Montreal cognitive assessment .The levels of CSF Ach were observed by Alkaline hydroxylamine colorimetric method .Result：There was no significant differ-ence in the Monthly average seizure frequency between the two groups after treatment .Cognitive function was more obviously improved in group VPA ＋EGb than in group VPA （ P〈0.05） .The levels of CSF Ach in the two groups were also decreased respectively after treatment （P〈0.05）, And the treatment group decreased more significantly （ P〈0.05） .Conclusion：EGb can improve cognitive function in patient with epilepsy by in-creasing the level of csf Ach which may contribute to its action in improving the ability of cholinergic nervous system.
