老年人自我概念与心理健康水平的相关研究

目的：探讨老年人自我概念各因子与其自评心理症状的关系。方法：运用自我概念量表和心理健康自评量表测试老年人的自我概念特点和心理健康状态，并进行相关分析。结果：老年人在自我概念量表各因子分量表上的得分与其在心理健康自评量表各心理症状分量表上的得分基本上呈负高相关，而且高、低自我概念组的老年人在心理健康量表上的得分有显著差异。结论：自我概念水平的高低及其不同因子和层面对老年人的心理健康具有明显不同的影响，对老年人的心理健康影响最大的自我概念因子是生理自我和社会自我。

Research on the Correlation between the Self-concept and Mental Health in the Elderly

Objective: To examine the correlation between the self-concept and mental health of elderly people. Methods: By the Tennessee Self-concept Scale and the SCL-90, a sample of 83 people at average age of 66 were tested, and by SPSS, the data were analyzed. Results: The coefficients between the scores on both Scales are significantly high and the mental health of old people with self-concept of high level were significantly differentiated from that of old people with self-concept of low level. Conclusions: The mental health of eldery people were influenced by their self-concepts, especially by their physical self and social self.
