Effect of stroke unit on comprehensive function rehabilitation after stroke

Objective To evaluate advantages of stroke unit on nerve function rehabilitation after stroke depression.Methods 78 cases of stroke patients were randomly divided into stroke unit and general ward.Stroke unit was treated with drug and early rehabilitation,including occupational training,swallowing training,physical treatment,neuropsychology,activities of daily life training for four weeks,general ward was treated with drug only.NIHSS,HAMD were taken as the value target.Results Compared to the general ward,scores of NIHSS and HAMD in stroke unit decreased significantly （19.9±6.6） vs（14.2±4.7 after 4 weeks）,（10.4±3.4 after 12 weeks）],（20.12±6.7） vs（5.8±1.9 after 4 weeks）,（3.9±1.2 after weeks）]（P0.01）,respectively.Conclusion Stroke unit can effectively improve nerve function rehabilitation to post-stroke depression.
