Abstract: | A new instrument for hepatic resection was designed and developed. Use of the hepatic comb during hepatic resection is described. It is very simple in shape, easy to handle and inexpensive. Using the instrument has made mandatory rapid hepatectomy in poor risk patients possible. The hemostatic effect of the procedure with this instrument is excellent, which is an important consideration in surgical treatment of the liver. |
