Application of Mobile Phone APP in Health Education for Patients with PICC in Gynecology

Objective To investigate the effect of mobile phone APP on the effect of health education for gynecological patients with peripherally inserted central venous catheter(PICC).Methods 92 gynecological patients who underwent PICC intubation from January to June 2019 were divided into observation group(n=46)and control group(n=46).The control group adopted the traditional PICC health education model,and the observation group adopted the317 nursingmobile phone APP to implement the health education model.The PICC health education awareness rate and the occurrence of catheter-related complications of the two groups were compared.Results The PICC health education awareness rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statisitically significant(P<0.05),and the incidence of catheter-related complications was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statisitically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of mobile APP to implement health education for patients with PICC catheterization is beneficial to improve the awareness rate of patient health education,reduce the risk of catheter-related complications,and improve patient satisfaction.
