Abstract:The magnetic beads coated with a sheep anti-mouse IgG were incubation with a murine monoclonal anti-Candida albicans antibody,and these immunomagnetic beads were incubated with the suspensions of Candida albicans,C.stellatiodea,C.tropicalis,Cryptococcus neoformans,Torulopsis glabrata and the mixed suspension of C.albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans respectively.Result:The immunomagnetic beads combined very obviously with Candida albicans or C.stellatoidea,and with a small amount of C.tropicalis.The immunomagnetic beads could not combine with Cryptococcus neoformans and Torulopsis glabrata.Using this immunomagnetic technique Candida albicans were completely separated from Cryptococcus neoformans,therefore Candida albicans were purified.This method can be used gal for the purification of candian spp.,and the purified fungi remain their biological activity and can be used for research purposes.
