Comparison of the Clinical Effects of Ultrasonic Osteotome and Chiseling and Splitting Crown in the Extraction of Impacted Mandibular Wisdom Teeth

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of ultrasonic osteotome and chisel and split crown in the extraction of impacted mandibular wisdom teeth.Methods:From January 2019 to January 2020,74 patients with mandibular low impacted wisdom teeth were selected as the research objects.According to the different methods of tooth extraction,the patients were divided into the control group(37 cases:chiseling and crowning method)and the experimental group(37 cases:ultrasonic osteotome method),the treatment effect of the two groups of patients was compared.Results:The operation time in the experimental group was significantly shorter than that in the control group,and the amount of intraoperative bleeding was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of intraoperative complications in the observation group(8.11%)was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The proportion of patients with 0-degree mouth opening limitation and the proportion of 0-degree pain in the observation group were higher than those in the control group 7 days after operation,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of ultrasonic osteotome is better than that of chiseling and splitting crown in the treatment of mandibular low impacted wisdom teeth,it is helpful to promote patients’recovery,effectively relieve patients’pain and reduce the risk of complications.It has good safety.
