Clinical Observation of Closed Thoracic Drainage with Central Venous Catheter in the Treatment of Pleural Effusion Caused by Lung Cancer

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of closed thoracic drainage with central venous catheter in the treatment of lung cancer pleural effusion.Methods:A total of 128 patients with lung cancer and pleural effusion from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected for the study,and they were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method.There were 64 patients in each group.The control group was treated with traditional thoracentesis,and the observation group was treated with closed thoracic drainage with central venous catheter.Compare clinical indicators,complications,and quality of life.Results:(1)Comparison of clinical indicators:The absorption time of pleural effusion,the time of shortness of breath,and the length of hospital stay in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant,and the difference in drainage volume was small compared with the control group,(P>0.05),no statistical significance;(2)Comparison of complications:The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,(P<0.05),which was statistically significant;(3)Comparison of quality of life:The quality of life of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.Conclusion:Central venous catheter thoracic drainage can effectively improve the clinical indicators of patients,improve the safety of patients’treatment,and improve the quality of life of patients.
