The diagnostic value of 1.5T dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance scanning combined with DWI and ADC in the differentiation of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatic cancer

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of 1.5 T dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance scanning combined with DWI and ADC in the differentiation of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)and prostatic cancer(PCa).Methods:Ninety-seven patients with pathological diagnosis after surgery or needle biopsy were selected from the patients undergoing prostate MRI examination in our hospital from February 2018 to March 2021.Among them,there were 44 cases of BPH and53 cases of PCa.All patients underwent conventional T1WI,T2WI sequence,DWI and dynamic enhanced scanning,the dynamic contrast-enhanced image and DWI,ADC map were observed,ROI was selected,and time signal intensity curve(TIC)was drawn.The diagnosis was obtained and compared with the pathological results for statistical analysis.Results:The dynamic enhancement of PCa was mainly early enhancement(77.36%),DWI showed high signal(84.9%)and ADC value was low((0.94±0.21)×10^-3mm²/s).The dynamic enhancement of BPH was mainly gradual enhancement(81.82%),DWI was mainly isolow signal(86.4%),and ADC value was higher than that of PCa((1.61±0.18)×10^-3mm²/s).The data of the two groups were statistically analyzed,P<0.05,with statistical significance.Conclusion:BPH and PCa have different signal manifestations in dynamic enhanced scanning combined with DWI and ADC,which has important clinical application value in the differential diagnosis of BPH and PCa.
