Abstract: | Ten Solomon Island patients with troublesome leprosy reactions were treated with clofazimine in an uncontrolled clinical trial. In every case benefit resulted to the patient in one or more of the following ways: clofazimine had the ability to suppress reactions; to replace cortico-steroid therapy; to cover the effect of increasing the dosage of dapsone; and to produce clinical improvement without serious side effects. |
