The hydrolysis reaction of somancould be catalyzed by catalase。The fact that soman onsuccessive additions can be well hydrolysed.It impliesthat the reaction belongs to an enzymatic catalysisrather than“ neutralization”.The Km of somancatalytic hydrolysis by bacteria catalase was 0.2mmol·L-1.The effects of NaN3 on the enzymaticactivities were quite different when soman or hydrogen peroxide as used as substrates,it seems that there aretwo separated active sites on the molecule of catalase。
