| Abstract: | Bone metastases are a common problem of many malignancies, including myeloma, breast and prostate cancer. The Wnt inhibitor Dickkopf-1 has been shown to be involved in the process of bone lesions by impairing osteoblast activity. This review will focus on the role of Dickkopf-1 as a mediator of malignant bone disease and discuss its potential as a novel therapeutic target. |
