湿润烧伤膏治疗成人牙周炎30例短期临床疗效观察

目的探讨湿润烧伤膏(Moist Exposed Burn Ointment,MEBO)在治疗成人牙周炎中的应用价值。方法选择北京宣武中医医院口腔科门诊因成人牙周炎进行牙周治疗的患者30例,随机分为试验组和对照组,每组15例,试验组于牙周基础治疗后外用MEBO进行牙周涂布治疗,对照组于牙周基础治疗后外用碘甘油进行牙周涂布治疗,分别于治疗第3天和第7天观察记录临床疗效。结果治疗第3天,两组患者牙龈指数存在显著性差异(P0.01),龈沟出血指数无统计学差异(P0.05),两组患者满意率均为100%;治疗第7天,两组患者牙龈指数和龈沟出血指数均无显著性差异(P0.05),两组患者满意率均达96%以上。结论 MEBO与碘甘油治疗成人牙周炎的短期疗效相当,长期疗效仍需进一步观察。

Observation of Short-term Clinical Efficacy of Treating 30 Cases of Adult Periodontitis with MEBO

Objective To investigate the application value of moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) in the treatment of adult periodontitis. Methods Thirty adult patients with periodontitis treated in dental clinic of Department of Stomatology at Beijing Xuanwu TCM Hospital were selected and divided randomly into test group and control group, 15 cases each. After fundamental periodontal treatment, the test group received periodontal coating of MEBO and the control group adopted periodontal coating of iodine glycerin; clinical effect was observed and recorded on day 3 and day 7 of the treatment respectively. Result On day 3 of treatment, there was significant difference (P<0.01) for Gingival Index between the patients in two groups, and no statistical difference (P>0.05) for sulcus bleeding index (SBI), the satisfaction rates for both groups were 100%; on the 7th day of treatment, the two indexes for both groups had no significant difference (P>0.05), and the satisfaction rates were all over 96%. Conclusion MEBO and iodine glycerin have equivalent short-term effect in the treatment of adult periodontitis, and further observation is needed for long-term effects.
