Using independently developed orthodontic X-ray cephalometric teaching software in the teaching of orthodontics

Abstract:Objective:To explore the teaching method based on clinical practice and develop an Orthodontic X-ray cephalometric teaching software.Then,evaluate its effect on Orthodontic education for Undergraduates.Methods:Teaching methods was studied.The teaching software was developed and applied to undergraduate Orthodontic teaching,and teaching results was evaluated.Results:The accuracy of cephalometric landmarks was significantly improved(P<0.05)with new teaching method.Conclusion:the teaching software and new teaching method are helpful to improve the teaching effect of Orthodontic cephalometric education for undergraduates,and increase the accuracy of cephalometric landmarks and analysis.
