| Abstract: | Analyzing the patient material of 506 patients with gastric resection, authors deal with the early complication of resection, its diagnosis and treatment. They review the complications, their frequency and mortality in their own material. After operations made for tumour, complications occurred more frequently than after interventions because of ulcer. Total mortality was 10.2%. In order to reduce mortality they call attention to the possible prevention of complications and their careful management. |
