| Abstract: | This paper introduces Cultural Anthropology and its basic concepts, methodology and classic research that relates to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) research. Although Cultural Anthropology is quite influential in humanities research in the West, it is still considered a new discipline in China. The authors believe that Cultural Anthropology research holds great potential for the study of TCM and have tried to suggest some new aspects of research. |
