Left Aortic Arch with Right Descending Aorta

The radiographic findings in a 57-year-old-man with left aortic arch and right descending aorta are described. Left aortic arch with right descending aorta, first described by Paul in 1948, is a very rare congenital anomaly. To our knowledge only 16 cases have been reported in the English literature. We describe here an additional case to emphasize its existence and supplement the data in the literature.
