Abstract: | Familial cases of A.L.S. are more frequent in young people. The course is short. There are some alterations of sensory pathways. However some atypical cases are known. Three patients had such clinical features: in the first case there was a progressive weakness of scapular girdle with neck muscles involvement. The second case was a progressive spinal amyotrophy. The last was a bulbar form. In all 3 cases there was an autosomal dominant inheritance, but the course was slow. |
