| Abstract: | Summary Fifty-eight cases of oedematous malnourished children were studied by the estimation of serum and C.S.F. magnesium. The C.S.F. magnesium level correlated well with the sensorium of the patients. Serum magnesium level does not have much diagnostic or prognostic value in malnutrition.
