Abstract:
Experiments were perfomed in rats to elucidate the role of central 5-HT and catecholamines in the mediation of the antinociceptive effects of d-amphetamine, d-p-chloroamphetamine, morphine and aminopyrine. The method of Randall and Selitto (1957) was used for determining the antinociceptive effect.
