Abstract: | Rationale Orexin neurons project to a number of brain regions, including onto basal forebrain cholinergic neurons. Basal forebrain corticopetal
cholinergic neurons are known to be necessary for normal attentional performance. Thus, the orexin system may contribute to
attentional processing. |
