食管鳞癌及癌前病变组织中环氧合酶-2及血管内皮生长因子的表达

摘    要:目的 探讨河南省食管癌高发区食管鳞癌及癌前各级病变中环氧合酶-2和血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)的表达及意义。方法 应用免疫组织化学法(ABC)检测环氧合酶-2及VEGF在癌旁正常食管黏膜组织34例、基底细胞过度增生36例、轻中度不典型增生15例、重度不典型增生18例及食管鳞癌32例中的表达。结果 食管上皮重度不典型增生、鳞状细胞癌组环氧合酶-2、VEGF阳性表达率明显高于其他组(P〈0.05),且二者表达有相关性(P〈0.01)。结论 环氧合酶-2和VEGF在食管上皮细胞重度不典型增生中及食管鳞癌中表达异常增高,提示二者的表达增高与食管癌的多阶段演变过程相关,环氧舍酶-2和VGEF可能成为食管癌高危人群筛查和食管癌早期诊断的分子指标之一,并为食管癌的治疗提供了新靶点。

Abstract:Objective To determine the clinical significance and expression of cyclooxygenase(COX-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in normal epithelium of esophagus nearby esophageal cancer,precursors and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) from high risk region for esophageal cancer of Henan.Methods Immnohistochemistry (ABC) was utilized to detect the expression of COX-2 and VEGF in 34 normal esophageal epithelium,36 basal cell hyperplasis (BCH),15 mild dysplasia(DYS),18 severe dysplasia and 32 esophageal squamous cancer.Results Immunoreactivity of COX-2 and VEGF was much higher in severe DYS and ESCC than that in other tissues (P<0.05).The relationship between COX-2 and VEGF was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion Aberrant up-regulation of COX-2 and VEGF expression in severe DYS and ESCC suggests that up-regulated expression of COX-2 and VEGF maybe correlated with esophageal carcinogenesis and COX-2 and VEGF may be one of the biomarkers for high-risk population screening and early diagnosis of ESCC.
