| Abstract: | Objective： To investigate the expression and significance of YKL-40 in articular cartilage of osteoarihritis.Method： Immunohistochemistry elivision plus was used to detect the expression of YKL-40 proteins in articular cartilage in 32 cases.Result： The positive expression of YKL-40 protein in osteoarthritic chondrocytes was higher than that in normal chondrocytes（P0.05）.Conclusion： There is a consanguineous correlation between degrees of the expression of YKL-40 and chondrocytes apoptosis in osteoarthritic articular cartilage.It demonstrates that the abnormal expression of YKL-40 is closely related to the biological behaveior of OA such as occurrence and progress. |
