Use of robotics in the realization of external perosseous osteosynthesis

Abstract:The authors expound the principles of making up of the algorithm (program) for diagnosis and implementation of the optimal variations of rod insertion in various types of fractures of the extremities and the method of adaptation of the program to a specific fracture according to its biomechanical characteristics. The succession of the realization of the program of insertion of the rods, reposition of the fragments and application of the apparatus with the aid of the robot are described.
