卵巢肿瘤中基质金属蛋白酶-7及其组织抑制剂-3基因的表达

目的研究卵巢肿瘤组织中基质金属蛋白酶MMP-7及组织抑制剂TIMP-3基因的表达及与卵巢恶性肿瘤临床病理特征和预后的关系.方法应用RT-PCR方法检测48例恶性卵巢肿瘤、21例良性肿瘤及22例正常卵巢组织中MMP-7及TIMP-3mRNA的表达情况,进行阳性率及半定量的比较,并将其结果与临床及病理学资料进行统计学分析.结果 MMP-7及TIMP-3在正常卵巢组织中阳性率仅为9.09%与4.50%,在卵巢恶性及良性肿瘤中阳性表达率分别为83.3%、66.7%、68.7%、81.0%,明显高于正常卵巢(P＜0.000),其半定量表达亦明显高于正常卵巢(P＜0.000).它们在卵巢恶性肿瘤中的表达水平与患者的临床病理特征及预后无相关性.结论 MMP-7及TIMP-3可能与卵巢肿瘤的发生、发展有关.

Expressions of matrix metalloproteinases-7 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-3 in ovarian tumors

Objective To investigate mRNA expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-7(MMP-7) and tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-3(TIMP-3) in ovarian tumor tissues and the relationship with linicopathologic characteristics of patients with ovarian tumor.Methods RT-PCR was performed to detect mRNA expression of MMP-7 and TIMP-3 in 48 cases of ovarian malignant tumor,21 cases of ovarian benign tumor and 22 cases of normal ovarian tissues.Results The positive rates of MMP-7 and TIMP-3 mRNA were 83.3% and 68.7% in ovarian cancer tissue and 66.7% and 81.0% in benign tumor respectively and were significantly higher than those in normal ovarian.The half-quantity(relative value) were also higher than normal.MMP-7 and TIMP-3 mRNA were hardly detected in normal ovarian tissues with positive rate 9.09% and 4.50% respectively.The expression of MMP-7 and TIMP-3 had no significant correlation with linicopathologic characteristics of patients with ovarian cancer.Conclusions The overexpression of MMP-7 and TIMP-3 may contribute to the development of ovarian cancer.
