| Abstract: | In eight cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia, two of which also contained well-differentiated prostatic adenocarcinoma, staining for S-100 protein was negative. These findings support the view that the outer layer of cells in prostatic acini is not myoepithelial in nature. |
