Abstract:Objective To establish an HPLC method for the analysis of chemical constituent and determined the content of luteolin in variety of natural mutation-Lonicerajaponica var chinensis. Methods HPLC analysis was performed on Venusil XBP - C18 ( 250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm ) column with mobile phase of acetonitrilephosphoric acid-water and the detection wavelength was 238 nm. Results The retention time of luteolin was 39.50 min, the linear range was 0.035 5 - 0.284 0 μg ( r=0.999 9 ).The RSD of reproducibility and stability experiments was lower than 3% and the average recovery rate of luteolin is 98.85%.Conclusion This method was simple and fast with more accuracy and reproduciblity to detect luteolin in Lonicerajaponica var. chinensis. The average content of luteolin in Lonicerajaponica var. chinensis was 0.54mg/g.
