Abstract:Objective To establish the method of content determination of total flavonoids in the leaves of Exochorda serratifolia S.Moore., and determine the content of total flavonoids in other different part. Methods Ultraviolet spectrophotometry was used with rutin as the reference and detection wavelength was set at 267nm. Results The liner range ofrutin was 0.005 6-0.022 4 mg/mL ( r=0.999 8 ) ,the average recovery was 97.77%, the contents of total flavonoids in leaves,flower, stem and root were 6.39%, 6.84%, 1.04%, 1.11% ( n=3 ) ,respectively. Conclusion The method is accurate and reliable that can be used to determine the content of total flavonoids of Exoctorda serratfolia S.Moore.
